Cookie policy
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that websites save on the device of the person visiting them. They keep the site working, remember certain preferences and — in some cases — collect information about browsing.
This site also uses comparable technologies such as browser local storage and tracking pixels: what follows applies to those too.
How consent works
A banner appears on your first visit, allowing you to choose.
Technical cookies are active immediately, because the site does not work without them. All others — statistical, marketing and profiling — are not installed until you accept them, and no request is sent to the corresponding services before that point.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer of every page. Withdrawal does not apply retroactively to data already collected.
1. Technical and necessary cookies
Always active. No consent required under art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code.
| Name | Source | Duration | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cookie preference | giuseppeiannone.it | 6 months | Stores the choice made in the banner |
| NEXT_LOCALE | giuseppeiannone.it | Session | Set by the site framework to record the page language. It is not used to redirect browsing. |
2. Statistical cookies
Installed only with your consent. They show how the site is used.
| Name | Source | Duration | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics | 2 years | Distinguishing users and sessions |
| _gid | Google Analytics | 24 hours | Distinguishing users |
| _clck, _clsk, CLID | Microsoft Clarity | 1 day to 1 year | Anonymised recording of page interaction |
On Microsoft Clarity, explicitly: this tool records how pages are used — pointer movement, clicks, scrolling. The service is configured in full masking mode: page text and anything you type into forms are not recorded, and the recording retains only the page structure and the movements.
3. Marketing and profiling cookies
Installed only with your consent. They allow advertising campaigns to be measured and relevant ads to be shown.
| Name | Source | Duration | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| _gcl_au | Google Ads | 3 months | Conversion measurement |
| _fbp | Meta Pixel | 3 months | Browser identification for campaigns |
| _fbc | Meta Pixel | 3 months | Attributing arrival from an advertisement |
Google Tag Manager does not set cookies itself, but manages the activation of the tools listed above.
4. Third-party services embedded in pages
Location maps — maps are served by CARTO and OpenStreetMap. Loading them involves communicating your IP address to those services.
The site's fonts are hosted on our own servers: displaying them involves no communication with any external provider.
5. Providers' own notices

6. Managing cookies in your browser
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling technical cookies may prevent the site from working correctly.
